SME values the significance of international exchange in students’ growth. Each year it selects and sends good students for exchange or for degree studies to such top universities as Stanford University, Yale University, Columbia University, Duke University, University of Oxford, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and University of Waterloo. For regular exchanges, SME has long-term cooperation with University of Oxford, University of Sydney, National University of Singapore, Curtin University, Ruhr Bochum University and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. The exchange programs includethe following:
1. NJU-Oxford Joint Masters in FinanceProgram
SME sends masters in finance candidates to Oxford for five short-term courses every year, and regularly invites Oxford professors for lectures at SME. The program is committed to cultivating outstanding financial professionals with global insight and creativity.
2. The Graduate Exchange Program of NJU and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management
Every year, SME sends two to four graduatestudents to the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management for half a year to one year and receives two to four students from the Frankfurt School for a half-a-year exchange at Nanjing University. Although the two schools no longer renew their agreement after 2021, the Frankfurt School still accepts the exchange applications of the SME students.
3. NJU-USYD Training Program of Dual Masters of Project Management
This is a joint program of Nanjing University and the University of Sydney for cultivating high-caliber future practitioners of project management. Candidates will spend the first year will at NJU for courses on project management, the second year at USYD, and the third year, finishing their course work and master’s theses at NJU. They will receive a dual master’s degree from the two universities.
4. The “3+1+1” joint program with UIUC, USA:
Both sides agree that from 2022 onwards:
Subject to specific conditions such as language scores and professional courses, third-year undergraduate students from the School of Management and Engineering at Nanjing University may apply to start their studies at UIUC in their fourth year of undergraduate studies and, after receiving their degree from Nanjing University, may continue their studies for a master's degree at UIUC.
