After that, Secretary Chen Zhiyun had an in-depth discussion on the theme of Teacher morality and teacher style construction - how to be a good teacher. Through the interpretation of traditional culture and modern society on the concept of teacher morality, he explained the important status of education, and put forward the requirements for the construction of the teaching team of the School of Management and Engineering itself in the light of the goal of four good teachers.
On the meeting, Secretary Chen Zhiyun awarded the appointment letters of moral tutors for postgraduates to five outstanding teachers, namely Li Min, Yang Xuewei, Luo Zhixing, Li Qian and Zhu Zhangqing, to encourage the postgraduate tutors to lead the postgraduates to grow and become successful with their personality and academic attainments.

The second part of the meeting was a seminar on the cultivation of MEM talents. At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Li Qian, Deputy Director of the Sub-committee on Degree Evaluation of the School, reported the research report and proposals on how to improve the quality of MEM dissertations. Li Qian distributed questionnaires to part-time MEM postgraduates in our college and researched the management of part-time MEM students' dissertations in other universities. Through comparing and analyzing the research data, he sorted out the main factors affecting the quality of students' dissertations and the improvement paths, and proposed solutions to the current problems reflected by students in dissertation writing and the low passing rate of defense.
Then Professor Ning Yan, Director of the MEM Center, made a special report on the theme of Gathering our strength and creating a first-class brand of MEM, putting forward the vision of MEM reform and development of our college and specific program ideas, focusing on the positioning and work responsibilities of the MEM Center, the pain and difficulties in the current MEM talent cultivation, etc. He made a detailed exchange with the audience.
Around the theme of MEM talent cultivation, a number of senior teachers, including Cheng Shuping, Xiao Binqing, Zhou Xianzhong, Liu Haifei, Xu Hongli and Shen Houcai, shared their thoughts and experiences as postgraduate supervisors, taking into account their own experiences.
At the end, Secretary Chen Zhiyun and Dean Yu Honghai summarized the seminar respectively.
